I. We Remember His Life.

A. He spoke and acted wisely.

B. He was righteous (1 Peter 2: 22).

C. He was obedient (Hebrews 5: 8, 9; Philippians 2: 8).

II. We Remember His Love.

A. He helped the helpless.

B. He accepted the unaccepted.

C. He received anyone wanting to come to Him.

III. We Remember His Gifts.

A. His gift of reconciliation with God (Colossians 1: 19, 20).

B. His gift of life, both now and eternally (John 10: 10).

C. His gift of peace (Philippians 4: 7).

IV. We Remember His Sacrifice.

A. He became the sacrifice for all (Hebrews 9: 12).

B. His body was broken (pierced, torn, ripped, speared) for us.

C. His blood was shed (poured out, given) for our sins.

Conclusion:

A. Memorial Day.

1. Comes each first day of the week.

2. We remember what Christ has done.

3. We participate in a Memorial Service.
