A. Starts by blessing God.

1. How do you bless the one who gives all blessings?
2. Not just a habitual statement.
3. Calling for favor and good to be bestowed upon God.

B. God is Jesus' object of worship.

II. His Abundant Mercy.

A. We are born AGAIN.

1. God created us originally.
2. God is the only one who can re-create us perfectly.

B. We have a LIVING hope.

1. Ever hope something would happen and it didn't?
2. Ever find out you had been "duped?"
3. That is dead hope.

C. We have been given an INHERITANCE.

l. Incorruptible = non-perishable, will not decay, immortal
2. Undefiled = unsoiled, free from deformity or sinfulness.
3. Non-fading = perennial, perpetual.
4. Reserved only for us = watched, guarded, observed.

D. We are kept (guarded, protected, under protective custody).

3. For salvation.
4. Ready for revelation.
