I. Walk Worthy of Your Calling [v. 1].

A. Called into the fellowship of Christ (1 Corinthians 1: 9).

B. Called to let the peace of God rule (Colossians 3: 15).

C. Called to follow the example of Jesus (1 Peter 2: 21).

D. Called to repay evil with good (1 Peter 3: 9).

II. How We Are To Walk [v. 2].

A. Esteem others as better (Philippians 2: 3).

B. Gentle as a mother (1 Thessalonians 2: 6 - 9).

C. Patiently waiting (1 Peter 3: 8, 9).

D. Bearing by means of forgiving (Colossians 3: 13).

III. The Unity of the Spirit [v. 3].

A. Endeavor to keep.

1. It is granted by God (Romans 15: 5).
2. The many become one (Philippians 2: 2).

B. The bond of peace.

1. Christ has made us one (Ephesians 2: 14 - 18).
2. Peacefulness which does not make sense (Philip. 4: 7).
