I. Bondservants.

A. Definition.

1. One who is bound to another for life.
2. One who is bound to another for a limited time.

B. In the flesh.

1. Slaves.
a. Ones who have been captured or taken by force.
b. Ones who have been sold or sold themselves.
2. Employees - have agreed to provide services for certain compensation.

C. In the Spirit.

1. We had need of salvation.
2. God has provided for our salvation and we have agreed to serve and obey him.

II. The Actions Of Christian Bondservants.

A. Be obedient.

1. With fear and trembling.
2. In sincerity of heart.
3. As to Christ.
4. Not to just look good.
5. Do the will of God.

B. Serve with goodwill.

1. Serve for the Lord, not for men.
2. God will repay.

III. The Actions Of Christian Owners.

A. Be the same to them (just recompense).

B. Do not threaten.

C. Remember your Master is watching.

D. He is not partial.

Conclusion:

A. Being A Christian Is 24 Hours, 7 Days A Week.

B. Being A Christian Means Doing God’s Will.

C. Being A Christian Requires Obeying God.
