A. Faith Is Obedient Belief.

1. Abel worshipped properly.

2. Enoch walked with and pleased God.

3. Noah moved with godly fear.

4. Abraham left home, bore a son in his old age, and offered up Isaac.

5. Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau.

6. Jacob blessed his children.

7. Joseph commanded concerning his bones.

8. Moses’ parents hid him.

B. The Obedient Belief Of Moses.

Body: Hebrews 11: 24 - 29

I. Chose His True Heritage (Exodus 2: 10 – 15).

A. Refused adoption.

1. He grew up.
2. Chose to be an Israelite instead of an Egyptian.

B. Chose affliction.

1. He chose to suffer instead of enjoying pleasure.
2. He chose to endure poverty instead of riches.

C. Forsook Egypt.

1. He gave up his citizenship.
2. He did not long for "what he had" in Egypt.

II. Kept The Passover (Exodus 12).

A. Prepared Passover feast.

B. Abided by God’s command.

C. Trusted God to keep His word.

III. Crossed The Red Sea (Exodus 14).

A. Followed God’s leading.

1. He went where God took him.
2. He trusted God’s directions.

B. Obeyed God’s commands.

C. Trusted His power.

1. Held forth the rod to separate the waters.
2. Stepped by faith into the Red Sea.
3. Held up the rod to return the waters.
