I. An Established Heart.

A. Not carried by false doctrines.

1. There are many variations and differences.

2. There are many foreign and alien.

B. Established in doctrine.

1. By grace.

a. Bringing growth and character.

b. Leading to knowledge and godly wisdom.

c. Producing righteousness and righteous living.

2. Not by rituals.

a. Not by unprofitable food.

b. Not by unprofitable preoccupation.

C. Our altar.

1. Those who serve the temple are without rights.

2. Their sacrifices are discarded outside the camp.

II. Jesus, Our Sacrifice.

A. His sufferings.

1. Were to sanctify us.

2. Were with His own blood.

3. Were outside the gates.

B. Go with Him.

1. We seek to be with Him (unashamed Mark 8: 38).

2. We are willing to bear His reproach.

3. We seek the new city.

III. Our Offerings.

A. Personal Sacrifices.

1. Praise to God.

a. The fruit of our lips.

b. Thanksgiving to God.

2. Do good.

3. Share.

B. Pleasing to God.

Conclusion:

A. Being A Christian Involves Sacrifice and Sacrifices.

B. Are We Up To The Task At Hand?
