Introduction:

A. What Do You Look Forward To?

1. For some, it is a good job, nice house, and a family.

2. For some it is rest, relaxation and lack of stress.

3. For others, it is doing great things.

B. How Are You Going To Accomplish It?

Body: John 14: 1 - 6

I. Jesus Is The Way.

A. Jesus is the road which leads to God.

1. He has traveled the road to and from God.

2. The path He has prepared is the only one which goes to God.

B. Jesus is the only pathway of salvation.

1. He is the only Savior of the world.

2. Forgiveness is only found in His sacrifice and work.

II. Jesus Is The Truth.

A. Jesus is the Word of God (John 1).

1. God’s message to us is found in Him.

2. God now speaks to us through Jesus (Hebrews 1: 1 – 4).

B. Jesus spoke what God commanded Him (John 12: 49).

1. He did not speak of His own accord.

2. He did God’s will.

III. Jesus Is The Life.

A. In Jesus is true life (1 John 5: 12).

1. He provides us with a good life now.

a. Freedom from the stain and guilt of sin.

b. Freedom from worry and stress.

c. Freedom from a hopeless and insignificant life.

2. He provides us with the only hope of eternal life.

B. Jesus provides us with abundant living (John 10: 9, 10).

Conclusion:

A. If You Want To Go To Heaven…

1. Jesus is the only way to make it there.

2. Jesus tells and shows us the only way to get there.

3. Jesus’ life and way of living is the only way to get there.
