A. It cannot extend your life.

1. It is well known that worry affects your health.
2. Your life will not be lengthened, your height not increased.

B. It cannot feed nor clothe you.

1. You cannot adorn yourself nor feed yourself as well as God has taken care of nature.
2. You are more important than birds, bees, or trees.
3. This is what the world is concerned with.

C. It cannot bring you closer to God.

1. Your energy will be sapped.
2. Your heart will be turned to the world.

II. What Can Worry Do?

A. It can distract you from what is important.

1. Your attention will be distracted from spiritual things.
2. You will be focused on taking care of things yourself.

B. It can make you selfish.

1. You will store up treasures for this world.
2. You will not be giving.

C. It can weaken your faith.

1. You will not put your trust in God.
2. You will risk losing your faith.

D. It can steal your heart.
