1. Never went to plead with brother.
2. Viewed life as drudgery.

B. Would not even go to the party.

1. Asked a servant.
2. Jealous of the father's forgiveness.
3. It was the father's party, not the younger son's!

III. The Father.

A. Bestowed great blessing upon son.

B. Never gave up hope.

C. Always wanted his son back.

1. Still looking for him.
2. Clothes, ring and fatted calf waiting.
