Introduction:

A. "Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow."

1. The only time it is sweet is when you WANT to be apart.

2. It is full of sorrow.

a. Because of the friendships made.
b. Because of the plans unfulfilled.

B. Some Words Of Hope And Guidance.

Body: Revelation 3: 7 - 13

I. Christ’s Door Is Always Open.

A. We can approach Him at anytime.

1. In times of dire need.
2. In times of plenty and quiet.
3. At all "hours of the day."

B. We have work that we can do.

C. There is always opportunity.

1. He holds the key.
2. He is in control.

II. There Is Always Strength.

A. God has given us what we need.

1. He has given us the talents.
2. He has given us the opportunity.
3. He gives us the strength (Philippians 4: 13).

B. He has given us a task we can accomplish.

III. There Is A Reward.

A. Christ will protect us.

1. We may endure persecution and hardship at times.
2. We may be kept safe from harm.
3. No other can destroy us.

B. Christ will provide a crown.

C. Christ will make you a permanent fixture in God’s temple.

Conclusion:

A. Life Is Full Of Changes.

1. Our lives are made up of bits and pieces of our experiences.

2. We carry bits and pieces of the lives we have shared.

B. A Promise.

1. If the Lord Wills, We will meet again here on earth.

2. If not, you will do everything you can to get to heaven.

a. That was why God brought me here.
b. That will keep us from having to part again.
